Steven Loza, Professor and Chair of the Department of Ethnomusicology and Director of the Center for Latino Arts, will be speaking about his most recent books, The Jazz Pilgrimage of Gerald Wilson (University Press of Mississippi, 2018) and Musicología Global: Pensamientos clásicos y contemporáneos sobre la etnomusicología (CENIDIM and the UCLA Latin American Institute, in conjunction with UCLA Ethnomusicology Publications, 2018).
