The Relationship Between Social Capital and Education SpendingJonathan Collins, doctoral student, UCLA department of political science, will discuss his research, which explores the relationship between social capital and education spending. Collins received his English degree from Morehouse College and an MA in African American Studies from UCLA. Event attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions about the work. The event will have a faculty/Post Doc moderator who will also lead a discussion on available on-campus support for young diverse scholars in the different graduate program at UCLA.
