Authors’ Series Lecture

Co-author Karin Stanford will discuss the memoir of the late Wayne Pharr, Nine Lives of a Black Panther: A Story of Survival (2014: Chicago Review Press). Pharr was an active member of the Black Panther Party in Los Angeles in the 1970s. Dr. Stanford is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Pan African Studies Department at California State University Northridge. This event is free and open to the public.
