Thank you ever so much for honoring this wonderful spirit. I was fortunate enough to not only know and experience the wonder and ingenuity of Wanda, she was kind
enough to endorse my 2014 book of poetry BLACK RAISING CANE OVER RED. She sat in
a number of our workshops at The World Stage and was always the most giving and
sharing person you’d want to meet. Eloquent and fiery, yet kind and gentle.
A large void exists because of her passing.
