UCLA Newsroom Reports on the Unveiling of “The Black Experience”
April 23, 2014 – More than 40 years ago a group of black UCLA art students created a wall mural depicting African American triumph and troubles in the United States. This May marks the mural’s unveiling after more than twenty years, unearthed behind a false wall on the first floor of Ackerman Union next to where Panda Express now operates.
