Stuart Hall, 1932 – 2014
The world-renowned cultural theorist and activist for social justice Stuart Hall has died at 82. An intellectual pillar of the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies in Birmingham, England, Hall has inspired generations of scholars around the globe interested in understanding the relationships between racial representations and cultural politics.
