Race and Hollywood: Importance of Connecting with Black Viewers
A new Nielsen report discusses why it is important to connect with African American consumers, who have a buying power of $1 trillion that is forecast to reach $1.3 trillion by 2017. The report also found that no group watches more television, and that African Americans lean heavily toward programming with diverse casts, and that African American women watch more television than African American men.
